to turn grass into silage you have to wrap the bales in plastic, or put loose grass in the silo and trample it with the tractor and cover it with plastic.

you can also make hay with the grass, drying it with the tedder.

to provide them straw, you need to do it in bulk, there are machines that chop the bales.

about selling it, I don't remember right now, but I think you can sell it in bales as well as in bulk.

iirc you don't need to do bales.

for cows you need a special trailer for mixing the food. you can use the shovel too instead of bales, but it's more difficult to calculate the exact amount.

I beg your pardon, because I got confused about the game, and I was answering you like it was another game xDD the answer is still valid, only that the animals can be feed with bales as well.

in this game i do bales, in the fs17 (that it's what i was thinking before xD) i don't do bales

yeah, but what i mean it's with the shovel it's more difficult than with the bales :D
