Sorry to ask, but have you ever played Argo ?

You're mostly hosting a PVP game mode without any customization.
Meaning that the players would have to use default weapons only.

Aside the fact that you are hosting from Australia with around 150-300ms of ping. Even the PvE suffer from such ping.

If you are serious about hosting an Argo server, it is mandatory IMO to implement 'customizations'.
Armory, controls/keybinds, etc.

All game modes can be recreated from scratch from the 3DEN EDITOR, and then you can custumize those with assets and custom scripts.

Hi,
Not really. But the few that do are doing it "privately",
or by playing solo once in a while or with a group.

Without a permanent "central" server or two, there's not much hope.
The game also need someone used to Arma Scripting.
Missions need updates and admins to fix server/game issues/bugs, etc.

You need to bypass the Main Menu to be able to play the game since Bohemia did shutdown the login servers.
You can find the information on How to bypass it at many places.
