How to Play Train Sim World on the Mac OS
For those who own a Macintosh Computers, I would like to show you how to get Train Sim World to work on the Mac OS. First you would have to install WineBottler and then run and install Steam that says Windows, watch this video closely and then you can run Train Sim World on your Mac Computer...

In the future, there will be alot of changes, Windows 7 support will end on 2020 and Windows 8.1 support will end on 2023. Windows 10 is the last OS of Windows so there will be no Windows 11 in the future and after Windows 10 support has ended on 14th October 2025 it would then be time to say "Goodbye Windows" so they would have to change it to Linux or Mac OS or any OS.

I doubt seriously that they will stop producing operating systems. Like hey, let's sabotage ourselves and stop producing our most common OS, and force everyone into buying apple computers. Makes absolutely no sense. And by then, Linux will even be old and outdated.

Microsoft's plan is to keep selling Windows 10. They already released a cut down version, Windows 10S, but for now we're pretty much all forced to keep using Win10 for work for example.

The rest of their revenue will come from subscription based services such as the Office package (Word etc) which has a monthly fee with cloud support and such. Add to that the Microsoft store.

Linux is open source, so people will keep updating it. Won't get old or outdated, just an option for when Win10 becomes too annoying.

Apple's software is too closed & all to be interesting, so I won't bother. Besides, needing an apple machine that can't run much and costs a fortune...no thanks.

Btw, not sure from where this line comes:

Not sure where you have seen that, but yeah, Microsft won't end support for Win10 and if they do, they'll release something new. Unless sombody comes and creates a new, better,. operating system.

Right now would be the best time, with how annoying Win10 has gotten.

Support is just based on the latest feature update released. The latest feature update version is 1703. The notes say:

All Windows 10 editions are managed via the Windows as a Service (WaaS) model: Updates are cumulative, with each update built upon all of the updates that preceded it. A device needs to install the latest update to remain supported. Updates may include new features, fixes (security and/or non-security), or a combination of both.

The lifecycle fact sheet can be seen here[support.microsoft.com]

It still doesn't mean they'll end support for Win10 and then we won't have any more Windows. Microsoft will just release some new OS similar to the actual Windows and life will go on. Saying we all have to move to Linux or MacOS is just plain ridiculous.

Yeah Microsoft has such a big share of the market with Windows, they won't let that go for sure.
Maybe they do a new OS and call it something else and not Windows.

They release a new feature update for Win 10 at least once a year. When they release the next one the end of support date will move back to a later year. The OS is still called Win 10 but Microsoft only supports a limited number of feature update versions depending on which version of Win 10 a user is running.

Bottom line: Win 10 support will continue well past October 2025. Some people just do not seem to understand how the Win 10 support life-cycle works and as a result are proving incorrect information and worrying people unnecessarily.

Actually No, Even When We Past October 2025 Microsoft will no longer support Windows 10 and that's the way the Microsoft Windows 10 Lifecycle Support Works and the information is right...

https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/13853/windows-lifecycle-fact-sheet

Windows 10 is not going to be a forever OS, some people do say "Windows 10 will be ongoing" and that information is not true

Dude, Microsoft themselves stated their intention when they released Windows 10. They clearly said that it was going to be the last WindowsOS, and that they would just keep supporting it in the longterm. So after 2025, they'll just extend it's lifetime with new updates.

There's a new huge update coming in Autum.

The article you linked only mentions that Win10 won't be supported in old hardware. What, is that your confirmation to Win10 extinction andwhy we should all go to MacOS?

"Windows as a Service" is only runned during Version 1507, 1511 and 1607 and there hasn't been any on Creators Update or later

I don't believe it's true whenever Windows 10 ends after 2025

You think Microsoft will say goodbye to its money-making machine? They make millions out of it, they always have and still will. Unless a competitor comes out of nowhere, even in 2050 we'll still be using Windows as OS.

STOP ASKING THAT QUESTION! WINDOWS 10 END OF SUPPORT IS October 14th 2025 and the Mac OS and Linux is the future OS or any OS for 2050?
The Viking 7 Aug, 2017 @ 2:11am
Ok, ok, Win10 will end in 2025 and we will go play on MacOS. Sure.

Don't worry, the UK will disappear in 2020 anyway so you won't be there anyway.
