How can I change space to pause and not jump to start of clip??

How can I change space to pause and not jump to start of clip??

I cant find where to rebind it in Customize Keyboard?

Go to the "Options" menu and select "Preferences". In the Preferences dialog, select the "General" tab. Scroll down about 3/4 in the list of options, find the option "Make spacebar and F12 Play/Pause instead of Play/Stop" and select that option. That will change the behavior in way you are suggesting.
