English Voices Fix (it works)
For everyone that is stuck in japanese voices (just as I was a few hours ago) and love the english voice acting from this game, I've come with a fix (since BNEA just told me in a support ticket that they don't have a estimated date to fix this).

IMPORTANT: If you swapped the audio files from JP <-> US folders (another workaround posted here in the forums to fix the english voices), you have to restore them to their original order. If you haven't done anything to the game folder, ignore this.

1. Download my file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fPrjcVKRqiQ_rmkfoJdEZaYC1QtxGYF1/view?usp=sharing
2. Extract it to the installation folder (by default: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\hackGU)
3. Replace the files when prompt.
4. Go and see for yourself that it worked.

PD: This will also fix the audio for cutscenes and videos.

Thanks for this! I recently wanted to play the games again and was disappointed that ENG dub wasn't working.

Super helpful. I know dubs can be questionable depending on the game/show. But I've always found the G.U. English voice-over performances charming, same with the original IMOQ quadrilogy. Just saying my thanks and added an extra helpful award to your post. Hopefully they consider fixing this eventually, and the IMOQ games are getting a remake or at least remaster one day.

Just tried this fix and it absolutely works. Thank goodness. When the intro credits were running during a cutscene and the NA voice talents were shown I was very surprised by the caliber. Most of the greats in anime at the time. This is absolutely the version of the game I want to play.

A Big Thank You!! I really wanted to play the game with the English voices rather than Japanese. Nothing again Japanese version, It's just nostalgia.

I just tried this and it didn't work. everything still in JP. Did I do something wrong?

Did you get a prompt to replace the files in the game folder? Because if it didn't, then indeed you did something wrong. You have to copy the DLL files from the fix to the game folder and replace the old ones. Tell me if it did work after this :)

im surprised there's so many issues with the steam version of the compilation.. i was nearly finished with volume 3 on ps4 and had no problems but the PC version can't even play the right audio language track?
