From what I remember it's C. Try to stay off the paths and to the bushes where possible. Be patient and watch each guard or cultist. Try to aim for moving past when they're walking away from you.

Same trash gameplay ruined Lust from Beyond as well. Both games would be made decent by removing the try it again stupid trash gameplay and just keeping it as an exploration and puzzle game.
Wish I hadn't taken so long to play this, I would have refunded after finding such trash gameplay.
