How am i supposed to earn anything if she fails at work and defeating monsters? Had to start over because i ran out of gold

Last playthrough I defeat all 3 bandits, didn't get any achiev for that.

I opened both at the same time, expecting different art but they look nearly identical. The text is definitely different-- like the farmer speaks more casually unlike Refine's stiff dialogue. Is there a list of all the differences between these two? So far, for me, I've noticed the translation overhaul and controller support....
