Co-op Mechanics?
I have a buddy getting VR and we're looking for co-op games to play. We're going to be getting this regardless at some point but I was curious if the game offers more than just climbing together.

For example if I was hanging from a ledge and extended my arm down could my friend jump up and grab by hand as I hoist him up? I think it'd be neat to have a seperate co-op mode that has features like that. An adventure mode of sorts that people can make levels for. Offers levers and stuff to interact with to change the enviroment. Grabing and lifting friends, moving objects around for puzzles and to bridge segments for climbing/jumping.

you can interact with your friend comepletely although there is no puzzles that use physics, only working out where to climb type puzzles.

Works for me, thanks for the info. That's pretty much what I wanted. Everything else I mentioned would have simply made for neat side content.

Ya, me and a bud did some co-op climbey just last night, was pretty fun!

And if ya don't mind a bit of cheesing, set your game to infinite checkpoints so that way, if one of ya reaches a safe point past a hard spot, but the other can't, you can plant a checkpoint flag, then jump back down to them so they can latch on, and fall into the abyss with em, and then you'll both respawn at that checkpoint.

Holding both menu buttons also works for resetting. When I carry a friend that way it feels like I'm charging my jet pack or something.

I am playing this with my brother and my wife almost daily. You can use your buddies as a "Ladder". That way even the hardest custom maps get really easy if the aim is just to reach the goal together as we can stack and climb on each other. However the real fun begins when we start racing and punching each other to become the first :D
