But seriously folks, OGRE takes place in a Timeline dating from 1995 to 2105 which is the dawn of the AI Factory States.
Bolo the computer game on BBC and Apple was actually based on Ogre, the boardgame from 1977 - which took in itself inspiration from the Bolo book series indeed. The first official versions for Ogre were released around 1988 on various platforms. The game here on Steam is an official version as well.
