SCUM
Sandbox settings costume zones - can't save
While trying to change settings in the costume zone, global configuration, and kind of settings and the hitting apply i'm getting the message: "Failed to apply settings on the server, please ....." and you can't save. If I hit exit it say you have unsaved changes but still can't save them. Did the verify game files and did not help. All other settings that are not in costume zone like 'world' 'general' etc ..... are ok to be changed and saved.

To apply the settings, you need to enter your steam id in the "Server Settings Admin Users.ini" file. It is located at "%LocalAppdata%\SCUM\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor". Then, you need to restart the game if it is running.

Hello :),

What settings do you want to change exactly in the zones? I changed a setting as a test, but the game saved it, so unfortunately I couldn't reproduce it so far.

Hello Yossy! Thank you for the report!
We will investigate this!
Could you please send us your Saved folder so we can test it out with your database.
You can find local Saved folder here: "X:\Users\User\AppData\Local\SCUM\Saved"

In the costume zone, in global configuration, or even in outpost , anything that I try to change from allow to block can't be applied. I hit apply but then comes the message I wrote in the first report.
This is actually a problem of a friend and when I checked, It happened to me as well.

(Other settings OUTSIDE of the costume zones, can be saved with no problem)

You can type "Run" in the windows search > open the "Run" application and type in %LOCALAPPDATA% then press "OK"
There you will find the above mentioned file path
Hello,
I am the one who had the initial issue. I went to Custom Zones and tried to switch some tabs from Block to Allow. When I hit apply, there was a message poping up on the screen and saying: "Failed to apply settings on the server, please..." (and btw the sentence is not even full). So I tried to log out and back in, didn't do nothing. I tried to quit the game and come back, didn't work. I tried to check the game's files and everything was ok... So what's going on? I am out of ideas to solve that problem and a bit pissed because I can't keep going with my Conten Creator's videos... Help me out please :)

I understand, we will investigate this further, you could try delete local Saved files then try custom zones again (you can find local Saved files by typing "Run" in the windows search > open the "Run" application and type in %LOCALAPPDATA% then press "OK" - there in the SCUM folder, delete the Saved folder and run the game again.) Back up the folder before deleting it so you can send it to us if needed.

Yes, I know how to find the path. But how do I send it to you?

You can share the files for example with Google drive or any similar provider and paste the link here.

So I deleted my local saved file. all fresh start. started a new sandbox game, new character. fresh settings. And I still have the same problem. Can't apply changes in the Costume zones when changing from allow to block.
And unfortunatlly I have no way to send you the folder. but it's not just mu problem. There is still at least one more person here with the same problem
I have same issue, tried to delete and change on new game - issue persists
I have the same problem.
I am unable to apply in the customized area.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and the issue persists.

see 2 posts above. I sent you the saved folder. Is that helping?
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
