I can enter the menu, but when I try to launch "Play" I just get a black screen (sometimes with a blue cursor ring). I waited a very long time, but I had to call logout because I couldn't help but close the application and switch to the task manager to close the game.
I'm running Beachhead 2000 again and it's running great.
Except for the moment that after exiting it, my Steam window is shrunk to 640x480...

same
I have the same issue. They said they had already fixed the compatibility for Windows 11, but when I click play, only a black screen appears—no sound, no image.
I’ve tried every possible solution based on community advice and ChatGPT o3 assistance:
1. I adjusted AMD GPU settings (including enabling GPU scaling, changing scaling mode, disabling RSR, FSR, Anti-Lag, etc.)
2. I used dgVoodoo2 with different resolutions and output APIs (D3D11, FL10), tested with and without it
3. I tested multiple compatibility modes (Windows 98/XP, 16-bit color, 640×480, admin rights, etc.)
4. I also disabled my second monitor to avoid multi-screen issues
But no matter what I try, after clicking “Play”, I still get a black screen—no sound, no image.
I can access the menu just fine, but the game never enters the actual gameplay.
This is clearly not a system issue on my side. I hope you can release a real fix or give us a clear workaround.
