Screen flashes
Anyone know why my screen is flashing in the game? It really hurts my eyes and I would like for it not to flash :|

Are you talking about lens flare or is the screen really flickering? If its the latter, could you post a recording of it? Otherwise its hard for us to do much about it.

The screen itself is flickering.
My recording software could'nt pick it up so I used my phone.

Nope never seen that before and seriously do not know what it could be. It looks like your graphic card has some issues. Could you try and make the game not fullscreen and change resolution settings?

And if your recorder does not pick it ut I think it is something with your monitor.

In addition to that it would seem its a screen issue, especially since the recording software doesn't pick it up. E.g. all the rendering seems to be ok then, but apparently the screen itself is not capable of displaying it correctly.

I took it off fullscreen and it stopped flashing.

Nice, great to hear. Sorry for the inconvenience. Greetz, Eric

Do you have an AMD GPU and non-LFC-capable Freesync monitor, by any chance?

The game has a 35 FPS cap as of now, which can cause issues on freesync monitors unable to run at that refresh rate.

What happens if you try running the game in full screen with v-sync enabled?

I am currently updating the game to 60FPS, maybe this will solve the problem!

Ideally there would be either an adjustable frame rate limit or no limit at all. High refresh rate monitors are becoming more popular lately, and both mainstream GPU manufacturers have implemented frame rate limiters(Nvidia as adaptive v-sync, AMD as frame rate target control).

Yes, the the game has stopped flashing. Taking it off full screen helped.
