Missing executable followed by damaged file integrity
I have written about this before but the post was deleted for some reason..

From time to time I get the missing executable error. Following attempts to reopen the game leads to a message that the files are damaged. My only remedy for this has been to reinstall the game so far.

Are you able to check if the executable is missing or not? If so, Please check if it is deleted by your virus scanner.

There is no reason why the executable should or could be "automatically" deleted.

My antivirus does indeed delete the executable, labeling it a malware of the IDP.ALEXA.51 type.

I am using Avast Free Antivirus.

And why did you delete my previous post?
