Really needs a manual
How do you focus camera on a ship and rotate it around it?

You can rotate around a ship while in direct control of it by using the middle mouse button but otherwise you cannot focus on a ship and rotate around it AFAIK.

with ALT+mouse moving you can turn the view

So the game does have the in-game tutorial and their is also a manual for CEO and Tron. Which can be accessed via bottom right in-game or via the Esc menu.
