Hope That Helped!
I never play MP so my personal & simple SP keyboard expectations would perhaps bring in a revenue stream they have previously been ignoring - which for the effort alone would hope for a small effort could gain a new audience and therefore more finance.
When I say I won't use a controller, I mean it and while they choose to care or not, I will always be a customer who will be at their mercy here. Their choice.
I agree to a degree but there are a number I feel where it just isn't the case and one of them is Nascar where there is little 'steering' as such where the wheel is rarely moved to any degree.
Only a keyboard or mouse? Who said that then?
I'm not sure you can say that about devs having better things to do as firstly you know no more than the rest of us and staring blankly in the face of this assumption there are many racing driving games which are configured to use keyboard & Mouse, Controller and wheel. Perhaps they had decided to do this because they found they had some spare time eh...? Or perhaps they realisied they may make more money but suiting the majority of customers... god forbid.
Another personal but sweeping view. There are sims and there are non-sims with most being somewhere inbetween so I'm not sure you can say that as if it's true. It's an opinion. This supposed 'select few who claim towant to drive with a keyboard' are those that would buy the game if it had keyboard support - without any need to 'dumb' anything down or skimp on any realism. They are totally different subjects altogether. I'm not sure why you are suggesting we are 'claiming' to want to play with a keyboard. I can categorically tell you I would buy the game if it had keyboard support - oh and I have a G27 too but it's not worth setting up for this game. That's how much, many of us feel we want keyboard support.
You are sneering down your nose at others for wanting more options? That's just ignorant and rather objectionable. Being smug and sneery just make you look like a daft kid.
Devs aren't there to tell others how to play, we are customers and as such would like the options. Seems these devs are lust lazy, incapable or ignorant and neither of those characteristics want to make me purchase their product. So, I won't.
Now tell me who the clever devs are...?
Logitech G27 - Works (Confirmed by myself)
Keyboard in the Menu - Works (Confirmed by myself)
Not sure what the issue is. Make sure your drivers are up to date. Update windows, etc..
