I can't upload anymore
Every time when I try to upload any of my units to the workshop it says:

"Upload Error: The submitted data contained error(s). - [filedata] The "filedata" field is required when upload id is not present. -[upload_id] The "upload id" field is required when filedata is not present."

What do I do with this? How do I go back to normal uploading? I have no actual mods installed just some workshop units I subscribed to.

Have the units been modded in any way? That could cause some issues. If you create a new vanilla unit, are you unable to upload that as well?

None of my units are modded, and everytime I make a new unit from scratch it still messes up.

That's really odd. Not sure what could be causing it, but reinstall the game if you haven't already and restart your computer & router.

I've tried all that and it still didn't fix it. I've never had this problem before with the game. Do you think it's the actual files that are causing it or maybe the cloud is messed up?

Not sure, but you could try doing a clean install of the game. Follow the steps at the bottom here: https://landfall.se/troubleshooting

I think I figured it out my saved units somehow got corrupted, I turned off cloud backup and switched to a different drive to install it and the workshop started working again.

Annnnd it's back :(

I tried to make the unit I wanted to upload again and it's back to showing that stupid error again.

So it worked briefly after you installed the game on a different hard drive? Do you know if you did anything that could have caused it to stop working again (like adding back your old units, or downloading something from the workshop for example)?

Ok so the reason I finally figured it out. It's that I put quotation marks and a hyphen in the name of the unit.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll keep that in mind if I see other players with the same issue :)
