(144hz issue) Can't even reach first power-up?!
I tried playing the game - at first i had no idea what was going on as my ship kept coming to a stop before even reaching the first power-up to get a boost - this happens about 90% of the time.
The rest of the time i barely manage to get the first speed boost, maybe a second one, but eventually quickly come to a stop again before getting anywhere.

This looks like some kind of bug to me, possibly the game speed is tied to the frame rate or something (running a 144hz monitor).

I've intentionally set my monitor refresh rate to 60hz just to test it - and turns out i'm right, the game plays fine since my speed doesn't drop of as dramatically as it does with a refresh rate of 120hz/144hz. I'd suggest the developer takes a look at this...

I've managed to pick up the first power-up only once in what I thought was more than 20 attempts. It doesn't say I've reached that achievement yet, but who knows. Granted, I bought the game with a coupon and only paid 34 cents for it, but still, shouldn't it be playable?

As for refresh rate, mine seems to run at 75hz and only at that. No option to change it.

Looks like a fun game, if I could actually play it.

Same here, on 144Hz can't do anything, as soon as i switch to 60Hz it works as intended.
An overall bad experience with no help tutorial or anything, not even a background change.
