Code of Conduct, Griefers, and Bans
Foxhole is a game where many players are encouraged to work together in a sandbox environment. Due to the freedom that we give players, there is always the opportunity for players to cause trouble and ruin the experience for others.

We expect every player to follow the rules listed below. If you are found to break these rules, expect a ban to be issued.

Code of Conduct
Read the Code of Conduct[www.foxholegame.com].

Dealing with Griefers
If you encounter griefing in the game (i.e. players breaking the code of conduct), use the following guidelines to resolve the issue.
  1. First, try resolve the issue by talking it out with the offending player through in-game text or voice chat. Sometimes, griefing actions are accidental or a result of a simple misunderstanding.
  2. Second, use the in-game report option to report the offending player. To do this, press F1 to get to the player screen then click on the report button on the row of the offending player.
  3. As a last resort, submit a support ticket through this link[siegecamp.freshdesk.com]

Disputing Bans
If you feel you have been wrongfully banned, submit a support ticket through this link[siegecamp.freshdesk.com]. Due to how busy the dev team is, we ask that you only dispute bans that you genuinely feel were wrongfully issued.

Community Assistance
If you require general assistance with the game, there are often community members and moderators on the official Foxhole Discord[discord.gg] that would be happy to help! Note that Community moderators are NOT responsible for issues relating to griefing or bans and are not responsible for providing official support for the game.

Steam Forum Code of Conduct
  • No spamming, trolling, or posting of inappropriate links.
  • No Witch-Hunting. No Cyber-Bullying.
  • No low-effort toxic memes, zero-context links or images, or posts intended as bait for trolling
  • Personal attacks on individuals, members of the developer team, or moderators.
  • No discussion of cheating, 'hacks', or exploits. Report these instances through the proper channels.
  • No off topic discussions
  • No discussion of moderation
Forum posts or comments that break the code of conduct will be locked or deleted.

This is the worse thing in this game right now. I think the game should be more severe with the bans and such

Do you developers ALSO have a code of conduct when you are forced to deal with people outside the staff? Because if you don't... you really should. KFC hasn't been the best professional he can be.

Unban this guy.

Code of Conduct
  • Do not team kill
  • Do not grief or intentionally harm your own team in any way
  • Do not harass, threaten, or personally attack the development staff or other players
  • Do not use hateful or offensive language
  • Do not use the communication tools for purposes other than gameplay
  • Do not cheat, exploit bugs, or modify the game client to gain an advantage
  • Do not abuse the in-game reporting tools (e.g. falsely reporting players)
  • Do not attempt to circumvent account suspensions (bans)
Breach of code may result in a ban without warning. Bans are issued at the sole discretion of the development staff.

Additional Support
If you are unable to resolve an issue after following the steps above require additional support, please contact foxhole@clapfootgames.com.

Someone get me some oxygen, I'm about to pass out from laughing after reading this.

You've got clowns out here making false reports, clans mass reporting people for TKing even though it was the clan members that actually TK'd the person they voted out. And yet the Devs do absolutely nothing about it even after the person follows your steps and files a support ticket.

I'm calling you out, you devs. I have made a video that shows evidence i have reported the player ingame and via your support ticket system. And you did nothing, i haven't gotten a reply even tho i checked the box that i want one.

Four months have passed, the player "itsthatoneguy12" is still on the loose and 8 days ago he again violated the Code of Conduct (this time i forgot to record) and you did nothing.
His ingame "violation log" has 5 or 6 accounts of him being banned by players voting him out.

I even made a post, here on steam where people congregated to share their awful experiences with that player and you still did nothing. Some stories are truly horrible and i'd quit the game if those things happened to me.

If you are going to make a "code of conduct" you should at least enforce it.

Here is the steam post:

Here is the YouTube clip that i've sent you four months ago:

Shame on you for letting one player affect so many others in such a bad way !

i came to play this game and have fun and come to find out that most of the veteran players are extremely toxic, grief and misuse report system, verbally abuse their own allies, and team kill very often. It seems to be a daily thing and it makes me very sad. I hope things get better in the future but for now I plan on putting this game down if I am unable to get a refund.
Dan Daragan 30 Mar, 2021 @ 1:14am
Guys, the developers business is to sell games, nothing else. I've been driven out of games before, because of toxic players. I dont play multiplayer games any more. Easy!

Boy i love being banned from games for no reason other than (offensive language)
What is offensive language? ANYTHING ANYONE arbitrarily decides is offensive? That is ridiculous. Welp. i hope someone else is going to supply Gsups to all the marban BBs now, because It looks like I wont be contributing anymore this war, possibly ever again.

Ermm... why not simply disable team damage? I haven't bought this game due to all the reports about how bad the griefing is; but honestly they need to weigh up the pro's and con's of team damage against the volumes of complaints and potential customers like me turning away from this (otherwise interesting) title.
Astral 3 May, 2021 @ 4:34pm
If there was no team damage, we wouldn't be able to deal with bad constructions and locked vehicles in front of defenses/blocking access.
Radox 3 May, 2021 @ 5:22pm
I guess then they could disable team damage on players, but leave it open to vehicles and constructions.
Fortoom 10 May, 2021 @ 2:12pm
Yeah skipping this one until the company figures out how to manage the community. Too bad. Looks like fun

Same. Was fun for a while

Meanwhile alt-accounts are rampant, throwing vehicles into the sea, emptying bases, stealing tech and Rmats... Even with such obvious behavior of griefing from the other faction, nothing is done. On top of that, no matter how much evidence we can gather, those accounts rarely get banned.

The issue is outright ignored.
