Give more info.
Is it windows 10, up to date?
Could it be power supply?
You hear video coolers louder before this happens?
Do you have enough free space on your drives?
Check the system messages to see what caused the issue.
And finally after such an event, you can report the problem from within the game. The developers will get both current and previous game logs and might tell their opinion too.
I just tried to play continue and that seems to bypass the issue?
Just played for an hour no problem, seems like it was only an issue when I start a new game. I dunno, now that I know I can play it at least, and I will see if I can test it a bit to trouble shoot what was happening.
to answer your questions:
- Windows 10, might check on that, but pretty sure I am up to snuff.
- Could be power supply but when I built this thing I actually allowed for a little extra juice then was needed, but the power supply was within acceptable range.
- No the coolers are not getting loud, there is not much heat of the PC at all.
- Pretty new PC and I definitely have room on the drive.
Good Idea with the Logs I will have to look into that.
Thanks for the help I will keep track if it happens again and dig into it!
