For those who can't get it to start. . .

Mine just popped up a window for a sec, and went back to desktop. Here is how I got mine to work.

Don't launch via Steam. go to your Steam library steamapps/common/Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner Right click the exe and go to properties. On the compatibility tab, check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 7. Hit apply at the bottom.

Now right click on the exe again and select "Send To" and create a shotcut on your desktop. Use that shortcut to play. It will play fine in fullscreen this way too.

Thanks but It didn't work for me.
