1993 is when we got our first computer, a literal desktop x486 that laid sideways on the desk with the monitor on top. My folks bought a few games from the shop.

What an odd time! I was so used to playing Nintendo with controllers and now I was gonna tried this weird keyboard and mouse setup! But amongst some of the duds I got for the computer, one of them blew me away: Wages of War!

I was emotionally transported to the land of Tarna with its beautiful music, magical graphics, and awesome story. It was my new home for the rest of the year.

Some time later, I got the Anthology (CD, 1995/6) and started the magic all over again!
