full disclosure: I don't own a PS4, don't know any details about that version and finished the game couple of years ago on PC but what I can say is, that it's mostly story-driven and doesn't really need the finer control with keyboard and mouse as you mostly move between the points of the story as it's told along the way(no jumping puzzles or something like that). a controller is fine perhaps. so I guess it's up to your personal preference. but other than that I see that it's currently discounted at -75% on Steam(at least in my region) and that's a steal!

You'll have a pretty similar experience on both platforms, as it's not a game with a lot of platform-specific features or things you'd want to customize extensively on PC.

Same price on both. I got it the other day on PS5. The game doesn't tell you the controls, but the action/select button is RB strangely, then mostly the left joystick to turn pages or pull up a lever and walk, etc. plus camera to look around. That's about the only controls needed.

The start is beautiful, slow, and very easy exploring the house. But you soon get to what I found was an increasingly dull 'chase' subgames that ended with the game locking up and I was unable to move. I had to force an exit, close the game and relaunch it whereupon I found myself right back at the start of that long tedious section so I quit in disgust.

Maybe I'll search for a playthrough vid in a few days/weeks/months to see where I went wrong, but right now I'm too disappointed to continue.

GRAPHICS if you can get enjoyable frames at max settings that makes PC the obvious choice
