Much better then Half-life Blue flavor. (blue shift)

Honestly always loved any game that allows you to play on the Opposing Force. (Terrible joke i know)

But you should honestly play this game! It's much different from the main game and blue shift, and honestly was very fun to play. (My first real review, i was lazy on the others.) But anyhow you really should give this game a try, if you don't like it you can always refund.

honestly the game wasn't too enjoyable and the enemy where that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon drops after dying and starts trying to kill you is EXTREMELY annoying, im glad that i could beat it but i absolutely will never replay this. felt really boring. i guess my brain is just rotten because i played it 25 years after release

Absolute 4/10, the worst official half-life game. Combat encounters very quickly become gauntlets with increasingly large amounts of increasingly difficult enemies in largely uninteresting, unvaried placements and arenas. Puzzle-solving and exploration is often overly cryptic and confusing, both major bosses are genuinely awful. This feels like a shortened re-hash of half-life 1 with enemy encounters that often feel borderline impossible in the worst way. Play blue shift instead, gear box managed the half-life experience much better there.

Opposing Force é uma DLC que realmente traz algo novo para Half-Life. Aqui também vemos o incidente do ponto de vista de outro personagem, só que, dessa vez, do ponto de vista de um "inimigo", que está encarregado de eliminar Gordon Freeman.

A DLC traz armas e inimigos novos, além de possuir um level design bem superior ao de Blue Shift. O problema que eu tinha com Blue Shift, de inimigos serem spawnados para te encurralar com muita frequência, foi resolvido.

Assim como Blue Shift, a DLC é curta, com cerca de três horas de duração.

Eu comecei a jogar Half Life: Opposing Force, pois eu tinha comprado o jogo na promoção de vir vários jogos clássicos, e tinha visto um vídeo sobre como Half Life, principalmente deste jogo, era maravilhoso. Nossa, eu realmente perdi tempo em não ter jogado esta obra de arte antes, o jogo é maravilhoso, ele possui um gráfico simples e antigo, mas combina muito bem, monstros que com certeza te darão susto quando você ver eles pela primeira vez e uma história bacaninha.
A história é o seguinte, você controla Adrian Shephard, um militar que vai em busca de Gordon Freeman, entretanto, em uma parte da missão, depois de presenciar todas as loucuras ocasionada pelos aliens, você acaba recebendo do comandante que o melhor a se fazer é desistir da missão, pois, além de aliens, também possui espiões, e outros soldados tentando te atrapalhar. Não é o masterpiece das histórias, todavia, ela dá a visão do outro lado do Half Life 1, e adiciona diversas outras coisas e o jeito que as missões se desenrolam é bem divertida e fluida, e o último boss é melhor que do original, mesmo que os 2 sejam ruins.
A jogabilidade é extremamente bacana, fluida e a mira até que é boa, se tu jogar no difícil os inimigos só morreram depois de 800 tiros (ironia), mas ainda assim dá para zerar. Eu zerei relativamente rápido com somente 6,5 horas.
A trilha sonora, normalmente, será feita por barulhos de tiro, raios, monstros, tudo que há de ruim naquele local, eu não reparei muito nas músicas, já que boa parte do tempo estava brigando contra ninjas e soldados inimigos.
Minha review acaba aqui, o jogo é bom e foi o jogo da série clássica que mais me divertiu, sendo curto, fluido, difícil e extremamente divertido com seus mapas reutilizados, porém, de maneiras diferentes e áreas novas, com seus monstros novos que causaram muita dor de cabeça. E creio que não seja só para mim.
