Published an update for Monster Slayers, bringing it to v1.5.1:

PATCH NOTES

- Items that give +5 Block/turn now work properly!
- Quitting a game in the middle of a battle now saves up to right before that battle began
- Items equipped/bought in the middle of a run are now saved properly if you save and quit
- Hovering over an item now shows details for all other items in the same slot
- Druid's Bear summon is now aligned and sized properly
- Added additional links to the main menu for 'The Magister' and 'Rogue AI Simulator'
- Added additional links to the main menu for nerdook's social media pages

As usual, let me know if there are any more bugs to fix, and I'll put it in a future update!

It's sleuthin' and deducin' time! The Magister - the new game from Monster Slayers developer, Nerdook - has finally arrived and there's a murder to solve in Silverhurst! Step into the shoes of a Magister, gather clues, discover motives, and unmask the guilty culprit! Build a deck and use a vast array of cards to fight or negotiate!

• Randomly generated murder-mystery means every playthrough is different!
  
• Use physical, weapon, and magic cards to overpower enemies in battle
  
• Master 'Tactical Diplomacy' with conversation cards for peaceful outcomes

Wanted to let you all know that The Magister, the new game from Monster Slayers developer Nerdook, now has a release date – the murder-mystery card battler will launch September 2nd on Steam (and Nintendo Switch, and also for Xbox One on Sept 3rd)! If you haven't already, be sure to add it your wishlist and you'll be alerted the moment it's available.

Before the full game launches, we're also going to be releasing The Magister: The First Two Days to give you a chance to sample the action and start your investigation early. As the name suggests, it will include the first two days of the randomly-generated whodunnit adventure (the full game takes place over 14 days). We'll provide an update when it's available, but rest assured that it will be available to download from Steam for free sometime before September 2nd.

More than 3 years after its launch, Monster Slayers is receiving a major update!

I have revamped graphics, scaled up the visuals, and added a very special character. Here is a full list of the changes:

• The game has been upscaled to 1080p!
  
• Brand new artwork for all heroes and many monsters
  
• Revamped inventory system: items are no longer carried forward
  
• For those who prefer the older version of the game, you can now switch back if you wish, by choosing the Legacy version! Choose the game in your list, right click then Properties, go to Betas, and choose "Legacy" from the drop down menu.

Finally, I am excited to reveal a special guest appearance by The Magister! The mystery-solving, card-battling hero of the upcoming game The Magister is now in Monster Slayers.

I shared the news with you recently that Monster Slayers developer Nerdook is working on a new game: a murder-mystery RPG card-battler called The Magister. Well, I'm delighted to say you can now try a demo of The Magister by downloading it from the game’s Steam page: download the demo here!

The demo has been released as part of the Steam Game Festival and it’s the first time The Magister has been publicly playable anywhere! It’s a WORLD PREMIERE!

In the demo you can...

• Play through the first two days of the murder investigation
