Videosound exiting game ends ears

so, i play this game on 20% master volume. but when i exit the game, it plays a niiiice little trailer video. and as my ears start bleeding, i realize, this one is not affected by the master volume control.

please fix this. it actually hurts ears. alot. and i am pretty sure, part 2 wont be about fixing ears.

I came here to say basically the same thing you did, only less politely. Developers: for the love of all that's holy, turn down whatever that exit video is. It scares the bajeezus out of me because it's so loud.

It's supposed to be fixed now - are you on the latest build of the game?

It's a dumb question I know but I have to be sure so I can check with the others if this persists.

As far as I know, I'm fully up-to-date. Steam is set to automatically update games, and nothing is available in Downloads. I can't find what the latest version of the game is, but according to the blurb at the bottom-left of the game screen, I'm on v1.6.0 [9A61D87]. Here's a short video clip showing the version number, my audio settings, and what happens when I click Exit:

Ugh yes please. I just came here to complain about the same thing. It's jarring. And I JUST downloaded and played the game for the first time, so after that "patch" you mentioned.

Even just HAVING that video is a dumb idea. I already need 2 clicks to exit the game, which is one more than it should take. Now there's a third click and I'm distracted from it and not expecting it and therefore have to deal with MORE loud video time.

Ok after seeing your video I know what the problem is. It's the volume of the video itself. We previously had an issue with the in-game volume so I thought it was that.

This should be easy. Fix coming soon!!

Please can we have a way of turning the advert off, especially for those of us who either have it wishlisted or even own a copy.

At the moment I find it really frustrating, and if I didn't already own it I would consider not buying it just because an advert continuously gets played in a game that I paid money for.

actually, a button with 'alright, i ve seen the video and now please dont show me again' would be very nice. while reading, i realized that i just exit the game with ALT-F4 just to prevent the video.
