Jeffus Maximus has Tropico 6

GameWill Not Start

I cannot get Tropico 6 to run. I start, it gets halfway through the loading splashes, then dies and the Unreal crash report pops this up:

Fatal error: [File:Unknown] [Line: 2740] Missing Dependency, request for /Game/Blueprints/Buildings/Colonial/Plantation/BP_Building_Plantation.BP_Building_Plantation_C but it was still waiting for creation.

I have verified the game files, restarted my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted PC, and so no, and the same result every time.

Windows 11, no mods, clean install.

Any ideas?

Hey Jeffus,
Please send a message to our support at support@kalypsomedia.com with a description of the issue, a DxDiag.txt attached, and information on what language version of the game you are playing, so they can investigate.
To create a DxDiag.txt, please do the following:

Click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R
Then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click “OK”
Click the "Save all Information"-button, located at the bottom of the program window
Save the file as "dxdiag.txt”
Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" to your email to support@kalypsomedia.com
