Hi,

Seem to be having a bit of trouble completing the requirement to build entertainment and luxury entertainment buildings near the Lab. The beauty requirement is registering, but the counter for entertainment is not increasing.

Anyone know how to get around this?

Hi, can you please share which objectives do not complete?

The place aircraft carrier near the volcano island didn't complete until I reloaded the save. Then the build 2 research buildings and 2 steel factories near the space port didn't fire, even after reloading the save and moving the building back and forth.

so i playing on the 3 mission and I can not complet the object on the ( Calming the storm)
the object im strugling whit is the enterainment buildings. as it is right now i have 2 hang glider. but no object complet.

Hey, I got the same bug, basically all missions related to placing sth near the space complex wouldn't work. This seems to start only after the recent update. I have a save that's before the update where I already got into a later mission asking me to place an embassy near the space complex. But I can't do anything to make it work, so I restart the mission, only to get stuck again by the 2 research buildings and 2 steel factory mission.

Same issue here today. Thought I was going nuts!

Not sure if it matters but I did have Pacifism set when originally building the aircraft carrier. Even after setting to something else and deleting/respawning/moving didn't help.

I've had issues with the New Frontiers Map 3 (the moon landing) and Map 4 (tourists) forecognizing buildings placed in a designated area for quest. The game didn't recognize the aircraft carrier near the Volcano Island quest even though I placed it literally next to it and even moved it several times. The same goes for the first mission of Map 4 (tourist) which required placing entertainment buildings near the Professor's lab, the game didn't recognize any of the buildings placed even though I put it literally right next to the Professor's lab. Appreciate any help with this. I think it broke with Update 3. Thanks

If you have one of the "placement registering" issues in New Frontiers that do not resolve with loading, please send us a savegame that shows the problem.

Find your save game file:
For Windows: Look in "My Documents/My Games/Tropico6/Saved/SaveGames/"
For Mac: Check "/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Application/Support/Tropico6/Tropico6/Saved/SaveGames"
For Linux: It should be in "$XDG_DATA_HOME/Tropico6/Saved/SaveGames/"

I play on ps5 and have the same problem. Second objective on second mission when i should place research labs near space complex it doesnt register. I have tried save/reload and demolish/rebuild but it doesnt work.

I would like to add that I am also having this issue. I was able to place the aircraft carrier fine, but the steel mills and the research facilities did not register. I moved to the next map, and I was able to get the beauty objective to register, but none of the entertainment buildings are registering.

I am playing the game through GOG and not Steam. Hope this gets fixed soon! Cheers!
