Clarity needed regarding EULA

Regarding, 6. Provision of Kalypso content and Kalypso services

"KALYPSO content and KALYPSO services are provided by providing a product key (“product key”) which will be sent via email."
Question: Is this really the case or is it more like a pop-up CD-key like the STALKER and Unreal games? Why via e-mail?

Regarding, 5. Collection, storage and processing of personal data

"Data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of the consent you have given to us and in accordance with the statutory standards of the permissive rule."
Question: Does this mean there is an option to opt out of the collection of personal data in the game options or is it assumed that if I accept the EULA I consent to the collection and transmission of my data?

Would just like some clarity on this before deciding to purchase. Thanks.

If you buy thru Steam, then Steam handles all that. You can look at your key by right clicking your game in Library and going to Manage, but you don't need to enter it anywhere. You are not going to get an email.

All of that must be if you buy straight through their website.

On the other hand, there is a 3rd party launcher that pops up when you start the game that advertises other games by the publisher. That rubs some people the wrong way, but this publisher adds that to most of their games.
