HOW TO REPORT BUGS
Here and there you will encounter a bug in the game. We did our best to test everything but since we are a small team and there are thousands of you out there chances are that you will find something we didn’t.

The directions might be a bit long, sorry about that, but this is the best way of reporting a bug. Why the best? Because it lets us find the error and fix it in the smallest amount of time.

When something unexpected happens in the game and you got the feeling that it should not happen, as a bug, do the following:

Step 1. Make a screenshot and save it as an image in .jpg or .png format
example: Game_Name_Inventory_Not_Working_14042016.jpg

Step 2. In Notepad or any other text editor describe the bug (include your activities inside the game before the bug happened) and save it – name it the same as the picture
example: Bear_With_Me_Inventory_Not_Working_14042016.txt

Step 3. If the bug blocks or crashes the game, do the following:

3.1. Open the Data folder in your game directory and send us the copy of the “output_log.txt” file
(Steam –> Library –> Left click on the game –> Properties –> Local Files –> Browse Local Files –> GameName_Data – output_log.txt)
Do this immediately when you experience a bug, if you do it at a later time the file will overwrite and not have the relevant information anymore.

3.2. Upload the image, text file and output_log to any free hosting service (imgur, pastebin, etc) or send them to info@exordiumgames.com with the Subject [BUG - Game Name]

Step 4. Open a discussion on Steam named [BUG] Bug Name and let us know whether you uploaded or sent us the files.

Step 5. Have a nice day! We will check it and do our best!

Hi, so the game just crashed, just after i gave Ted the Magnifier. I got the Ooops Msg & i've found the crash.dmp file, but i'm not sure where to send it to.

EDIT: Ok, sorry, i just noticed the email address, sending it now.

There's no way I'm going to all this trouble over it, but FYI I had to Alt-F4 the game after it froze when I tried to open the attic with the hook and Amber just stood there instead of doing the opening animation.

Hey Mr. Lambert, we're going to look at the issue ASAP, can you give us some more information about the issue, please. What OS are you using? Is this your first playthrough? Have you tried to re-load and open the attic again? We did some updates on EP 1 three days ago, can you confirm that you're playing an updated version (did you buy the game after 6.3.), did you let Steam update before playing the episode? If you can give us just a bit more information it would help us a lot.

I apologize for not doing it in the format you asked, just wanted to make it quick. When I'm in the Westpaw Casino, I go to the far left side and my game is broken it seems. The camera does not follow Amber and Ted when I try to go back to the right side of the casino. I had this issue before of not being able to get to the left side of the Casino and I exited back into the Crooked Stage area and re-entered the casino and it worked. However, now that I am stuck on the left-hand side of the Casino, I am not able to continue on with the game. I can click Amber and Ted over to the right side and they will disappear off the screen since the camera does not follow them.

Hi there !

I've got a PC Win 10 Pro, 2GhZ, 4Go RAM, AMD Radeon 8240.

Not a single crash nor bug until the very end of the episode 3, when Amber and Red encounters at the bridge. The 'loading' black screen appears, and then the game crashes. I've tried to choose either the sword and the piece of tissue, but the result's the same.

By the way, I really appreciated that game. Reminded me of a comic I don't remember the name of.

Thank you very much for the positive comments, and we're really glad that you loved the game!

We took a look into the issue with the loading screen at the end of the game and haven't experienced this problem, so would you be kind enough to send us some additional info regarding this issue that you have experienced.

Can you please try to reproduce this issue, send to us a screenshot and write down an exact steps you took before encountering the problem with the loading screen and crash.

Hey freehck, terribly sorry for the inconvenience. If I'm not mistaken you're having trouble with running the game on Linux. We've tested the game on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS without any issues. It could be compatibility issue with different versions. If you'd be so kind and send us your output_log.txt file. (The whole process is described in the other thread) we could look into it more thoroughly and get back to you as soon as we've fixed the problem.

Hi really loving the game - I streamed Episodes 1 and 2, but when I try to stream episode 3, I get about 40% frame rate loss on the stream so it just ends up being a slideshow for my viewers. The game runs fine on my end, but it can't really be recorded or streamed right now as it is. The first two ran great so I'm not sure if it's intentional or not so that things aren't spoiled. If it is an issue though, I thought you guys should know.

I have FiberOp and am hard-wired into the net, and the weather is fine. No one else is streaming anything right now, so I don't think it's a bandwidth issue on my end. I also regularly stream at 60 FPS games that are far more graphically intensive than Bear With Me with no issues.

Thank you for reporting this and for your feedback regarding frame rate loss!

We took a look into the issue with the FPS drop and haven't experienced this problem, but we have short instructions for you, so would you be kind enough and try them out:

- can you open the setting menu and set the FPS counter to "no limit"
- after you have set the FPS to "no limit", can you turn on the Steam FPS counter and let us know what is your FPS rate when you play the game through the different scenes
- can you also try out to stream the Episode 1 or 2, and let us know if you can stream them like before, or do you have a problem streaming them, like you have it with Episode 3

We're sorry that you have issues with the frame rate loss and we'll do our best to resolve it, so you can stream the Episode 3 without any problems. We really appreciate your support!

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! That's works for me (at least with episode 3) for both recording and streaming. I only got to record a little bit of episodes 1 and 2 because I've got to do a stream pretty soon and I wanted to set that up.

Not sure what frame rate I was getting, because even though I turned it on in Steam, I couldn't actually see it at all both with high contrast colours off and on. I can say however with episode 3 while I was streaming and recording I had 0.0% dropped frames Yay!

Thanks again for a great game; my viewers will get their bear puns. :D

I started up chapter 2 and noticed that the voice lines would autoplay a little too quickly, skipping a good bit of the voice audio at the ends of sentences when another character starated to speak. It's not game breaking, but it feels weird. Any advice?

Dinner: The meal you eat, possibly while at a diner.

Dinner is misspelled as diner at least twice in episode three.

Literally unplayable.
