Not allowed to join server due to vac ban on another game over 2000 days ago

i tried connecting to an aussie ns2 server and precached ready to load map and then the game kicks me out saying it doesnt allow cheating when i have a previous vac ban from mw2 many many years ago, ived played ns2 for the past 5-6 years with no issues and all of a sudden i cant play, anyone know what could be wrong or could it be server specific? new update in the game ?

any help is appreciated thanks

get additional steam account, buy game on it. This will surely solve all issues with vac bans

i did consider that but i was hoping i wouldnt have to, thats all :/

Have you tried joining other servers? The game is running vac. So the server might be running a plug-in, that prevents players who are vac banned in different games to join.
