Opinion of game please?

Hi, Stratego is on sale and thinking of grabbing it.

Can anyone that has played the game for more than an a hour of thier time please give me thier opinion on how the game is?

There are 8 reviews and none of them seem to say much and none of those reviewers have played the game an extensive amount of time.

The game has been on my wishlist --- I have been waiting for it to go on sale. It looks good and I'm sure it's worth the sale price. Still regardless of the price, if the game sucks I don't want to throw away my time and money on something I'll despise if it was poorly done. I see the game does not multiplayer but might in the future. My largest concern right now is that the AI is so dense the game is not even worth the single player campaign. This concern came from one of the reviewers on the store page.

For 3,50 EUR you dont throw away your money.
I dont know stratego before this game. I learned the gameplay with this game. Its fun.

As I said in my question those reviews did not help. If you nothing worthwhile to add or even bother reading (or understanding) the question do not bother to respond.

I'm waiting for the devs to respond as to whether we would have to pay again for multiplayer. They say it will come in the future, but this version is tagged as "Singe Player". Makes me think I should wait for the version that includes multiplayer. I don't want to pay twice!!

Yeah i was wondering that as well.
One of the reviews stated the 1 player campaign wasn't so good because of the poor AI. Multiplayer might be much more of a factor if the campaign itself is just no challenge.

I am far from a great player - and for $3.50, what the heck - but the latest review sounds like the AI is really bad. With no desire to play MP, doesn't look good unless someone disputes the bad AI claim.

I could not care less about the price on sale of $3.89 CAN. If I get it and find out it really is no fun or worth playing its wasted time more so than wasted dollars.

I loved stratego as a kid, I would like to play it if the campaign has some skill involved and multiplayer was a definate addition to come soon.

I'm hoping to hear about the AI too. A single player game with poor AI is time horribly wasted.

AI is very passive, but worth $1.75 on sale surely.

It's a pretty good version of stratego, great for newbies, but online is only on the mobile version. Maybe if it grows in popularity it will happen but its a bit of an obscure title at the moment.

I'll probably give it a thumbs up after playing it more. Provided there's no bugs and stuff as i like the neat tidy interface. The friendly tutorial.
