Planned for august-september 2017, but the freelance artist has gone (weapons and characters). I'm looking for a new one, but it takes a while.

Can you still use his art in the game, even though he left? It looks good so far.

Oh that doesn't sound good. Is the game in danger of going No Man's Skyed?

PS: Your game is listed in the "todays releases".

@MrUnbecoming, yes of course. I can use his art, because I've paid for it.
@Mushe No, I don't think so.

By the way I've found new one. He will be a bit slower, but quality of the art is the same or maybe even better.

Any updates so far on the release date? I'm in the mood for old school shooter mayhem with rogue like elements and the market for that isn't too big.

Thinking about EA so far. I'm always unsatisfied with results and need a fresh look onto game. Core gameplay is almost polished, but content is huge pain in my head. I think in one or two months I'll make an announcement. I am not almost sure, but chances are very high. This is my baby and I do not want to release a bad game. And, I think, you do not want to play a bad game for sure.

EA sounds great to me. Helps getting that polish on where it's needed. Hope to play the game soon, but I'm also glad if you polish it as much as you need to.

Thanks for the quick answer

Not my game, but if you're looking for a fun old school shooter with roguelike elements, Immortal Redneck is your game. Very fun with fast movement, lots of weapons, and randomly generated dungeons.
i like DESYNC

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm in need of something dark and gritty. :D Hence why I await Hermodr so much. Looking forward to Dusk though at the end of the month, even without rogue like elements, still looks dope.

Agreed. Immortal Redneck is very solid. Quake-like movement with ledge climbing is awesome mix. It's a my personal favorite on Steam. DESYNC provides too much of back-pedalling, that is not in my taste. But very cool too. As for Dusk. Well it's pretty insane. Even Q3 Arena is not so fast as Dusk. Want to try it too.
By the way Hermodr offers a different type of gameplay. A way slower than Dusk, but much unforgiving. I hope you like it in future.

If your game doesn't involve too much back-pedalling that's great to hear. To many "retro" shooters just involve me running in circles backwards which I hate.

Don't worry, your game looks great, I like slow and fast paced shooters. Need to get that EA soon! :D

Huh. At the earliest stages (even on the greenlight trailer) it was pure back-pedalling shooter, but since then I completely reworked the AI. I even placed a very funny episode in the trailer, when one of draugrs shoots at me and after I was aimed him he ran away. Of course there is still rushing enemies, but most of them will avoid your sight or even will go in defensive stance.
