I mentioned this in a wall of text before, but I'm putting it in its own thread because I honestly feel very strongly about this: I wanna see the background in battles! Every time I look at an alpha video with the background shown (without the red/blue tints) I am enthralled inside; it really feels like the units are in that background, to me (even in a really unrealistic-proportion background like the zoomed-out Centauri). Now the red/blue tints on each side are so dark that the background is hardly visible (and on that note, I'm not sure it's that visible that they are red and blue, and not just black).

Can there be a slate opacity slider, pleeeease?
