Hi, question: What's the game like?

Can someone explain the game to me? I see some kind of survival mechanics, base building.

also PvP and the like.

My concern is, is it like building a survival base (my own islands, if you can call it that) and fighting against enemies in an MMO?

And if so, can players attack my base? I have zero interest in that. Random PvP ♥♥♥♥, I hate newbies, especially due to my experience with cheaters and spawn campers with OP players.

Am I imagining it correctly? If not, can someone who plays it explain it to me?

Game includes the basic survival mechanics every game does; you gather resources to become stronger, you capture creatures which may aid in battle or movement.
You can imbue weapons with spells attached to them and I personally love the way spells are done in the game, wish there was more combinations.

PvP never got into it, all I know it was hacker abused garbage at the end. PvE ftw.
Players are able to destroy your base if PvP is enabled I believe.

Hopefully this cleared out some things at least. Sorry for the long wait, nobody had responded.

Yes, people either answer or they don't, that's just how it is.
I also sometimes answer older people who already knew, which means my answer is useless in the end. XD

It's normal.
You either answer or you don't.
I'm thinking that a quick answer would be nice, but the answer will come in 1-2 weeks at most. Maybe then I'll google it, or not, depending on my interest. XD
