Sudden burst of achievements to 5000!!
Why would you even do that? That was a game i enjoyed playing and it had quite a few achievements already that did make sense. Now you just turned this into a pure achievement spam game. Such a shame.

P.S Same goes for parts 2 and 3. Just didn't find it logical to create 3 threads.

Way better to dump them on an old game wich was a good one. Maybe you get some new "players" now but you annoyed a lot of your old supporters for sure. Think about it...

time for negative review because of achievementspam

That's the new trend: publish (sh**) games that throws a ton of easy achievements, people will be happy and buy it. If you care and want to avoid spam fest games, subscribe to this curator: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/30449223-Achievement-Spam/

Developers cannot make games for specific peoples, we have to try to reach the biggest range we can. Even if you don't like the achievements, there are people who like them.

Also, since 2016 Valve has created new policies to make indies to sell less, we have to do something to sell and stay in business, even if that means to add achievements to reach a new group like achievement hunters.

BTW, you can deactivate them if you don't like it, I do not know why that is bothering you.

First of all i'm an achievement hunter. I'm really compulsive for completing games. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198053257454/

So as an achievement hunter this doesn't make me to want to buy your game but quite the opposite. Your game was just perfect the way it was, with achievements which were kinda ''spammy'' but at least you had to play the game to unlock them not just press a button and get 5k of em, and i enjoyed playing it very much. I intended to buy your 3rd title as well but dont think this is going to happen now.

It is bothering me because 1)i bought the games before you added a ton of +1 achievements and 2)i had to reinstall the games just to wait for the achievements to be unlocked because you messed up my stats. It may sound silly but what can i say i want my games 100% completed.

If you think this move is going to make you sell more, then all the best of luck to you. It's not going to work that way for me and I'm just annoyed that a good game became an achievement spam fiesta.

no problem, already wrote up developer name and marked all his games not interested. Doing it with all developer which go achievementspam and missuse achievements and add thousands of trivial achievements to their games.

Sadly removing game from library not helps as i earned already the legit achievements, "not all tho" so now down to 2% with the new 4900 ones which ruins my AVGC and even if game removed from library the progress still counts to AVGC, but no issue, other "indie" developers already ruined it, thats why i stopped to buy indie games and now i buy only AAA ones or those small studio games which has good sales so not ruining achievements for 1-50 extra sold copies.

I can totally relate. That's why i had to redownload the game and wait for the achievements to be unlocked just to keep my AGC where it was. And, yes, removing a game after you earned at least 1 achievement doesn't work since it will keep affecting you AVG.

Tbh i really like to play for something and getting an achievement for it for showing how i did and/or did make it. These achievements are not worth anything at all. I did nothing for them to get them. Some achievement hunters think WOW nice fair amount more! but im the kind of person who wants to EARN them, not getting them thrown at me for doing nothing. The game itself i already had 100% but suddenly i saw my complete games count was 2 games less anyhow no hate at all but just wanted to say this out here xD

The new achievements are not to "turbo" the sales, it may bring new players, yes. But, like I said before, I am always adding new stuff to my games, some people may like the new addition and some people may not, sadly, I cannot please everybody.

Some times when I add new levels people don't like it, some times when I add new achievemetns some people don't like it, like I said I cannot please everybody. Just remember that there are people who like the new additions and keep in mind that these new achievements are an old request from players, I just did not had time to implement it before.

I would really like to see ''that'' request for adding spam achievements. So far i only see people complaining for the conversion of a nice game into a spam fiesta.

nope we cant deactivate our achievements to make it not to count to AVGC, even if we could reset achievements to zero earned now the game still counted to it so it would count as 0%. Yes, we could reearn a high % now but many of us dont want to earn trivial 4k+ achievements. Fun when game developers have no clue about steam system:-)

Since you are like this, next time decide prior to your game release if it is going to be a spam game or not, so i can decide if i want to buy it or not. If i knew the game was a spam one and i bought it then i would be at fault for complaining. But i bought a nice game and right now it became a ♥♥♥♥ game which i wouldn't have bought if i knew it would be like this(5k meaningless achievements).

Like I said, the achievements will unlock while you play the game. If you already played, I agree that is not the ideal situation, but, you don't even have to play it again, just leave the game open for a some time.
