What you also get in-between this are very relatable, more serious events, particularly when it comes to an actual hospital-environment or, alternately, personal crises of the characters.
And, as you may have gleaned from the review-page, there's some rather warped stuff involved when it comes to the bad endings. I myself got one of them - the one for Itsuki - during my first run done blind. Without spoiling too much, I've got to say that I was impressed with that one: My reaction went from foolish hope that things might turn out well to despair to, well, blank horror in the span of mere minutes.

I won't lie that I end up preferring the good ending for the route I played, but the bad endings do have their place, in my view. Probably best played first, though, if you don't want to end the game on a potentially sour note.
