I really want to play this game but as the title says, I can't launch the game properly because every time I try, it automatically launches SteamVR. When I close SteamVR and go back into the game, the resolution is all kinds of messed up and it appears to be locked up on the main screen. I can't use my keyboard, mouse, or my Xbox controller. It's just unresponsive, so I have to alt-tab out of the game and manually kill it.

Does anyone know how I can launch this game without having any involvement at all with SteamVR? I'd rather not have to uninstall SteamVR just to be able to launch and play this game on my PC. There has to be a way and something I'm overlooking.
