Do I get anything for saving as many ID tags as I can?

They don't stack, but can be recycled.
But I don't know if I get anything out of saving them (unlocking items, secret endings, etc). So should I just recycle them?

Nope. They're just names of kickstarter backers. Feel free to mass scrap them if you want.
