running the sims 3 on the steam deck with mods
im posting this info for some sims 3 players here on the forums that might be interested to know this but with proton in my case proton experimental you can run the game on the steam deck smoothly and with mods no problem i even have videos to prove it and show you how to set up mods i have been seeing some confusion about this topic on the steam forums lately so here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2Zoztf8-n0&t=474s

yeah its also possible on the link too if somebody would want remote gaming. i dont have footage of tha ton my yt tho

Oh yeah I don’t do the streaming thing but im sure there is ways to stream the game you could use whatever third party streaming app like moonlight or you could use steam remote play or steam link not quite sure how you would set up the controlls for the game with remote play since the sims 3 on pc doesn’t have controller support so you would have to create a controller scheme for the game yourself using steams built in controller mapping feature
