Fix game crash on beginning.

Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Yomawari Night Alone

Right click on "yomawari-steam" click on properties go to compatibility, in "compatibility mode" click on "run in compatibility mode" put Windows 98 / Windows Me, apply and click ok. Now just open the game and play.Hope this helps ^^ (I'm Brazilian, maybe English is bad) (reposting my comment in case anyone didn't see it.)

Put the .exe in compatibility mode and then start the game via Steam !!

Runs for a little while, but always crashes about five minutes in. At least an effort was made.

Same issue for me. It runs for about 5mins, lags half the time, then crashes.

Just making sure, try uninstalling and then reinstalling, followed by verifying the integrity of the files. I haven't had any issues with the game crashing.

For some reason going to yomawari-steam.exe Properties>Compatibility>check "Disable fullscreen optimizations" worked for me. Only cleared up to chapter one and haven't crashed so far.

Wow.. Played this years ago on an older, crappier laptop... had practically NO issues.. decided to play it again on a newer, better laptop... and there's all this crashing nonsense.. what gives NISA?
