Greatest work of fiction out there. Completeley engaged in this trauma of events and the science behind it

The only upside to the 999 port is the updated character sprites. The dialogue and the modes suck, and the English voice acting is terrible. The flowchart ruins the narrative flow. The ending is stripped of its raw emotion. The DS version of 999 is the only way to experience the game, which is fantastic.

VLR has some fun puzzles. Others are very annoying. The new music sucks. I liked Luna for the most part, but all of the other characters (especially the ones from 999, who were all mysterious and super cool) are all soulless. The repetition, hooooly ♥♥♥♥. You might want to use an autoclicker when going through the repeated scenarios. The villain is obvious from the first Ambidex Game. The new plot ruins the simple, yet mysterious, and perhaps perfect narrative of 999. The villain's background and goals are a weak cliche and can't be reconciled with 999's story, which it undermines. The twists about the characters are dumb. Not doing anything with Zero III besides looping the same story parts in the different routes was such a lost opportunity. The early part set him up to be the most entertaining character, with his catchphrases, unique design, "big brothers always watching" aura and would've made for a cool "grr, I hate this smug rabbit" kind of thing. The endings suck. THE ending sucks. Massive waste of time. The gimmick with the "betrayal" feature sucks because nothing ever happens it, you just get the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad endings, which ultimately don't contribute anything to the progression. "Why do people betray others?" Good question, if everyone spammed ally, maybe they wouldn't be so pissy and untrustworthy with each other. That's another thing, characters (not that they're particularly good) are sacrificed for the sake of creating a mystery. If you want to know what someone is up to, or why that guy did that thing he did, better get that ending which explains that part of the story only to never matter :))) Don't play VLR.

In conclusion, don't buy the Steam game unless you want to use emojis (they're bad) or throw money at Spike Chunsoft.

999 is really good and an Underrated Gem same as VLR i am a big fan of this series and i can really say i would 100% recommend this game because of the writing
