I don't really care too much - just letting the devs know, so they have the chance to possibly fix it at some point.
Edit:
Apparently at least it did save the cleared workshop levels. It doesn't save the clear time, only if you've cleared it before or not. That's probably just an intended optimization to save cloud space.
It doesn't save the progress of the built-in levels though, nor does it save the options.
I have recovered the hard disk of the old computer and found the directoy where the game was installed and saves, but the SaveData folder is empty. Does this mean savedata where on steam cloud? Maybe deleted due to 3 years without playing?
Could I have my nearly aall completed game savegame restored somehow?
