Won't connect to steam

Hi, my game is refusing to connect to steam, even though I have wifi and everything else is working. I've tried restarting the game, restarting steam, and even just leaving it for a while to be fixed on its own, but it's been about a week now and still, nothing.

Have you ever restarted your PC? What OS are you running the game on?

I am playing on a Mac, and I have tried restarting my computer. I'm still having this problem.

I am not sure why the game is not connecting to steam. Do you play any other game that uses steam workshop?

Yes, several, including Torchlight II and Cities Skylines. I just tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, and still, nothing.

Workshop in Picross only ever worked for me on Linux for a few months between September and November in 2019. Other than that it always said "Can't connect to Steam", no matter how many times I restart, reinstall or on how many machines I try (Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch). Lately I picked it up again, went through all of the in-game puzzles and now I came to the forums to look for a way to make it connect, hence, this comment. I'll keep looking but, please, HMU if you find a solution. Cheers.
