I believe I got it to launch on Windows 10 64 bit. You have the Steam version? I own the original.

I guess the first step is trying a compatibility mode. It's a rather old game now, so see if it works in Windows 7 or even XP compatibility.

It's the Steam version. I've tried all of the compatibility modes with no luck. I've also checked the integrity more than once and my AV quarantine folder. It's also been added to exceptions. The game absolutely does nothing.

Even though websites like Steam may seem to put a more 'modern' version up, it is probably exactly the same as the version I have.

I can tell you that there are plenty of games from that time period that will just not work on Windows 10, or will randomly work on some computers with Windows 10 and not others. If you have an old computer lying around with Windows 7 or lower, that may be your best bet. And of course some people make a Virtual Box with Windows XP inside it.

I'll also add that Steam still works with WIndows 7.

I could run it on Win10 64bit with the help of "DXWnd".
There is a preset in the "export" folder of the program, which ypu can "Import..." in the tool.
