If you're talking about 3v3 matches then sadly not. Pretty much anyone playing PVP will be doing 1v1 combat trials.

Though I believe they do set up some 3v3 games in the discord server from time to time if you're in that. If not then I can give you a link to it as well if you want.

There is a 3v3 mode, not often to find any sort of match, most people tend to just play 1v1.

if you mean in the open world, there can only be 3 players at a time per instance, so as long as its a 2 player co-op it should be easy enough to find a solo player walking around to fight.
