Great, and good luck with it then. Though if you manage to make The Dolls free roam, it might get better.
As for the ideas and suggestion... its not harmful to consider.. but it can be harmful if used too much that it becomes a crutch to you, or a drug in which you need to seek out the community to problem solve everything for you. Its not an insult but a word of caution. :)
thanks for the good luck
You're so naive...
Because sooner or later, its going to bite them back on the ass when people that did give their ideas to them and have screen shots to prove it will demand royalties for those ideas. THAT is why professional game companies do not do this. Not even Indie developers that have their games out there whether on sale or for free.
I would be impressed that if they manage to work both styles in there but I highly doubt it can happen and in time before a cease order comes crashing down on them. All I'm doing is just passing an idea over that my sister asked me to do for her, because while she's interested in the game, she's highly disappointed it is just another FNaF clone and not a scary one at that. She decided to give them this idea in hope of giving them enough kick in the pants to start thinking more about the ideas they DO have to use and build from there. 'Cause no way in hell they would get anywhere from just tracing people's work and selling it off on their own, like an art thief that steals from popular artists in hopes of gaining a crowd and attention.
I still do not hold any remote kind of trust to them but I am trying to be civil about it. I'm just honestly tired of arguing with defenders that don't get the idea of what it is that's going on and I'm still skeptical that beardrop is even part of the development team. 'Cause you'd think Hush would be the ones to answer but its either DarkDay answering or Beardrop, unless these two accounts are like backup accounts they use to poke around and not get screamed at.
I think it's naive to think they will truly work on their game to make it really better (they have neither will nor skills) but it seems you're rather realistic about that. I didn't wanted to be rude ;)
lol No problem, I didn't mean to snap either, just tired from all the fighting. Perhaps, but I am a bit disappointed that the concept idea using dolls (which I haven't really seen in forever in a horror genre game) is going to waste if they don't honestly work at it. I am realistic, because truthfully, being completely on one side or the other... no one wins and all it does is keep the cycle of bitterness going.
I do believe Scott is completely in the right to take the game down unless they switch to being free or remove it completely until they actually finish the game properly. But someone was right that Scott would need some type of competition to continue doing his best, not a bitter rivalry but a friendly one.
Whether it be Hush here or someone else entirely, it would benefit everyone. Scott has someone to test his skills against, and players can have a bigger variety of games to play.
