Message to the Devs. Take on Reborn
I want to start by saying the original Dolls was great, being one of the first games I did a let's play on, and also that no one developer owns a genre, so the original did not deserve to be taken down.

Going on to some things about the new version. Where you are with it now, there is massive potential for this to be something new and far scarier than what it was or anything like it was is. That in mind, where it is at now just seems very confusing. I can understand the difficulties of moving from 1 genre to a whole different one on the same game, and to some level I imagine doing so was making an entirely new game with the old assets.

It feels like the game was changed just enough to be pushed back out leaving it with the gameplay mechanics of an adventure survival, but with the goals of its old form. This ultimately leaves the adventure mechanics to feel pointless and the Dolls to feel awkward.

The dolls themselves still seem buggy and incomplete, things like the jumpscares on training day having no sound, lederhosen baby still being the only scare, there being zero danger in walking right through any of the dolls or staring at the cymbal monkey until he makes like a banana and splits, or just the all the the dolls seem to only have 1 spot in each room and staying in the room for too long makes lederhosen baby make schnitzel out of you. Perhaps with this change in gameplay, you could look to changing the function of the dolls themselves.

[Ignore the block below this if you don't want developement ideas]***

For instance what is the pick-up used for yet besides for it's sister function of opening the doors.
What is it's planned function? An idea could be that now you have free roam, your goal is to hunt down the dolls and put them back in their crates, spots, or just straight on pick the up and let them vanish to the naughty corner aether. With this each doll could be given a sort of personality.
*Lederhosen baby [LB] has been the only attacker since day 1, with the rest being along for the rides, so why not that be his mechanic? This is the aggressive doll trying to hunt down the player, similar in nature to Chucky
*Pajama baby [PB] is a scaredy cat, fleeing from the player attempting to lure them into traps, corners, or LB
*Crib baby [CB] is a trickster, shutting doors on the player as he teleports around
*Cymbal Monkey [CM] is a wild card, attempting to close doors, lure the player into traps, or turning aggressive

[Thats it for ideas]

But now just some things that feel buggy.

When standing in the door to the right of the computer desk and looking at the camera, there is nothing. Its weird but not a big deal.

Walking through a doll isnt a game over, it isnt even a danger

You can stare at most of the dolls for like 30 seconds with the exception of LB [starring at him is just plain terrifying it basically looks like he lunges at you like a rabid cat. So, you know, awesome job on him atm]

Walking too close to a wall makes the flashlight dissappear. maybe increase the size of the player collision box or move the light source forward a bit.

Power drains no matter what. It makes sense I guess with everywhere having lights and the moniters always being on. Maybe it is intentional because OSHA stepped in to force a power grid upgrade for workmans safety reasons, horray for at least one of the Security Guard's complaints not being laughed at by HR.

So yeah, that is my $0.50 on the current state of the game after your big update. I can't wait to see if you do more, because right now it feels like your guys are on to something! Best of luck with your developement.
