In my opinion, they don't deserve so much attention but we'll see if I'm wrong.
"Guys once again, before arguing "fair use", please educate yourself as to what fair use actually is. These days people think that fair-use means: "Well, it's not copying it TOO much!" That's not what fair-use means, at all. Doing a review of my game and using footage would be fair-use. Recreating my game is not.
The people here crying fair-use even call it a fan game. A fan-game is a derivative work, meaning that it's derived from MY work. Making misinformed legal arguments on forums doesn't change anything."
