Edit 2: I think I'll delete this thread-- although putting in more current VLC and youtube-dl fixes VHS Tape playback, I am no longer able to run cartridges at all. I tried all this on a clean install of Windows 11. Edit: Nevermind, the youtube-dl reports it can't find the MSVC DLL when trying to play a movie, I'll try to track it down and report back I just did a clean reinstall and had the problem where it was just stopping with empty logs without launching. I specifically needed the Visual Studio 2013...

I've tried a bunch of the arcade packs as well as editing the XML by hand, and when inserting any cartridge, whether it's SNES or Genesis (with the PicoDrive line added to the config) everything causes NRAN to crash to desktop. I'm on Win11 and have tried both compatibility settings for the EXE for Windows 8 as well as Running as Administrator. Does anyone have cartridges working on their setup at the moment and can confirm their settings/config?...
