When I tried to adjust the resolution, something really weird happened and the game went black, and haven't been able to fix it. I tried re-installing in almost every way possible, but it doesn't work. Checking the game's log it mentions not being able to render textures. Anyone has had a similar problem or has a recomendation on how to fix it?...

Hello. I want to open a thread to discuss strategies. There is a building called "Golden Ram" that increases points for goats at the end of the match (2 goats = 1 point). Does anyone think a goat strategy would be viable (trying to get often the goats if you can get many with one worker action + getting "Golden Ram")? Do you have some kind of math you do to calculate the favour-value of goods? In the short game version do you agree with me that goats are nearly always the worse choice than the other goods?...

Just an update on trying to run the Linux version. Previously the performance was very poor on my 2008 Macbook (not too surprising considering how old it is) but the last couple updates it hasn't launched at all. Is there some sort of log or something I can send to help? I try to launch the game and it seems to just open then close without any error message. The Steam message "Preparing to launch Sumer" does come up, but it just closes. I'm using the Beta version as well....
